Annual leave
All Full-Time staff have 24 days paid leave per year plus Bank Holidays. Part Time employees are entitled to the same annual leave entitlement as Full Time staff on a pro rata rate for the number of hours contractually worked each week.
Leave for volunteering
At ECS- we value our volunteers and are proud to hold the Investing in Volunteering Accreditation. We give our staff the opportunity to volunteer in work time and give back to their communities through volunteering and we pay for staff to take two days leave per year to volunteer with local organisations.
Employee Health & Wellbeing Service
The Employee Health & Wellbeing Service is an independent confidential free service available to all our staff and their immediate family. The service offers a 24/7, 365 helpline, counselling services, financial and legal advice and provides staff with an e-Hub app with online personalised wellbeing webinars, mini health checks and coaching.
Flexible working
A range of flexible working options are available and there is a policy and procedure that enable staff to propose working arrangements which we will make every effort to accommodate when considered in conjunction with business need. Options available include part-time working, part home working, and different working patterns for school term time and holidays.
Flexi-time
We offer a generous flexitime package which helps staff build up additional leave and provides flexibility in working hours.
Pension Scheme
We make a 5% employer contribution to our pension scheme for all eligible employees.
Access to unpaid leave
Staff may request short unpaid breaks in addition to their annual leave entitlement, which are dealt with on a case by case basis.
Training
Staff are encouraged to identify any training needs, for both personal and organisational development. We also have a tailored e-learning package which is available to all staff.
