As our Health Inequalities Officer, you will work alongside the Community Outreach Officer to create and implement initiatives that tackle health inequalities. You will engage with various community members, analyse disparities, and develop strategies to improve health outcomes.
A commitment to tackling inequalities in health has been at the heart of our work since the start. The NHS Long Term Plan (2019) explains how systems should be working together to be sustainable, tackle health inequalities and respond to the changing needs of the population.
This role involves partnering with other local Voluntary and Community Sector organisations so a strong approach to partnership working and collaboration is essential.
You will be part of a team that relies on each individual to play their part to the best of their ability. As well as the colleagues that you work closely with every day, you will also be part of the wider Engaging Communities Solutions CIC organisation, one of the largest providers of Healthwatch services in England.
