Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre (BMEC) project

ECS are delighted to have been commissioned by Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust to undertake research for them on staff and patient experience in the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre (BMEC).

We will be working with the Trust and Healthwatch Birmingham until end of the year to gather feedback from patients and staff through interviews and focus groups as well as undertaking observations in BMEC. We are aiming to understand what is going well and how things can be improved both for the patients using BMEC and for the staff that work there. The observations at both the City Hospital site and Sandwell General Hospital have been undertaken and interviews are ongoing. The project is due to report to the Trust in February 2023.
