Children and Young People Engagement in Telford and Wrekin

Healthwatch Telford & Wrekin and the ECS Research team have been asked by Barnados and the Co-op to undertake engagement with young people on their behalf in Telford and Wrekin. The project is seeking the views and feedback from young people about health and wellbeing to contribute to a new youth service that is being delivered and funded in a partnership between Barnados and the Co-op.

We are undertaking focus groups and surveys with young people as well as recruiting young people to be involved as co-producers of the new service.

Work is currently underway carrying out focus groups and recruiting young people to be involved in co-production and is due to be completed in February 2024.
