Practice Plus Group- Family Involvement project

Following a previous successful project for Practice Plus Group that looked at patient involvement in healthcare delivered in prisons, ECS have been commissioned by Practice Plus Group to develop an approach to family involvement in prison healthcare.

This project has been on hold during the Covid restrictions because of limitations on prison visiting and its impact on the recruitment for the project.

However, we are shortly to begin recruiting families of prisoners to give feedback and get involved in focus groups around their experiences and to help develop guidance for Practice Plus Group in how families of prisoners can be involved in shaping healthcare delivered in prison settings.
