Healthwatch Sandwell- Accessing Mental Health Services

The ECS research team are undertaking a co-production project on behalf of Healthwatch Sandwell. We are working in partnership with Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation to investigate the experiences of Black people in accessing and using mental health services in Sandwell in order to understand the barriers to access and how they can be overcome.

SACMHF have recruited members of their Carers group to act as peer researchers in the project and now that Covid restrictions are beginning to be lifted we are planning our first meetings to agree the methods to be used to collect feedback.
