Job Title: Volunteer Coordinator
Working pattern: Full time- 37 hours per week
Salary: £26,500 per annum plus 5% employer pension contribution
Location: Flexible working- home-based with a requirement to attend the central office in Leicester regularly, with frequent travel throughout Leicestershire
We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and self-motivated Volunteer Coordinator to oversee our Healthwatch Volunteers across all areas of Leicestershire. Working flexibly from both a home base and out of our central office in Leicester city centre, with the need to travel extensively throughout Leicestershire, the Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with all teams across Healthwatch Leicester and Leicestershire to ensure volunteer roles are fulfilled and effective in achieving our strategic aims.
The Volunteer Coordinator will also support volunteers to ensure they have everything they need to conduct tasks effectively and safely and feel fully informed about our work, mission, and values as a Community Interest Company.
You will need to be flexible, and adaptive, and motivated to look at ways we can diversify our volunteering opportunities and help individuals take action to empower local people and get their voices heard about health and social care. You will also be working with external organisations and partners, so you will need excellent communication and time management skills.
